If as expected Will Hoskins becomes a Forest player on Friday, he hopes to make the move a permanent deal in the summer. If he does become a permanent signing, it’s thought the fee will be £500,000.

The Nottingham lad wants to kick start his career again and hopes to do it with his hometown club.

Hoskins moved to Watford last January, but only made 12 appearances for the Hornets before spending 3 months on loan at Millwall.

He told the official site. ‘I want to score goals for Forest in front of fans from my hometown. I’m not exactly sure why things haven’t gone particularly well for me at Watford, but that has made me even more determined to make a success of my time at Forest.’

If the fee is for the said amount, that could be a small price to pay for success and a helping hand to promotion. Hoskins has been given shirt number 11, that’s the shirt vacated by the one called Dobie. Let’s wish him all the best and hope he has more luck in it than he had.
