They say that a picture tells a thousand words.
Well, you can certainly put this picture in that category, and it’s something that we really need right about now to keep our spirits up in these final few weeks before football returns.
The club posted this picture of Portuguese playmaker Joao Carvalho beaming as he took a break from training at the Nigel Doughty Academy, and it’s something that also brought a smile to Forest fans on social media.
The 23-year-old hasn’t had the best of times this season, in and out of the starting eleven, sometimes out of position and was heavily linked with a move away from the City Ground ahead of the January transfer window, but obviously that hasn’t affected him too badly.
Will Joao Carvalho leave Forest this summer?

Hopefully he’ll be able to have a major impact on the team throughout the rest of the season, and with the new rule allowing for more substitutions in games, then there’s certainly the possibility.
