A viral infection forced Holt out of last weekend’s 1-0 victory over Northampton at Sixfields, with John Thompson drafted in as a replacement.

But Forest boss Colin Calderwood is not expected to risk midfielder Kris Commons who is on the way back from an ankle injury.
