After a fortnight of what seems like a news embargo at the City Ground, the rumour mill is picking up pace again and sees Forest linked with several players.

There’s a new name being touted in the gossip columns, with Bolton striker Heidar Helguson being tipped to make a £1.5M move to the banks of the Trent. The news from Vital Bolton, suggests they would be glad to see the back of the injury prone player and will snap our hands off for that money.

Although he’s an Icelandic international, he’s not set Bolton alight. 2 goals in 6 appearances says he ‘aint all that. Most of his time since leaving Fulham has been spent in the treatment room. That said, he might be a good foil for Earnshaw up front. Time will tell.

The Ross McCormack rumour has been resurrected and sees us linked with him again in this ARTICLE. The Motherwell frontman could be ours for as little as £50,000. A decent player and a safer bet than glass legs Helguson.

The French midfielder Guy Moussi from Angers has been liked again via the forum and could be signing on Monday. He’s another that could cost as little as £50k. He’s thought to have been touted to us by none other than David Friio and his scouting links in Europe. He’s a highly thought of player, with a growing reputation that’s beginning to turn a few heads. Could be worth a try and not a lot to lose.

The coming days are expected to get busy regarding new arrivals at Forest. At least that’s what we’re all hoping. It just makes a change to be linked again. This has been a long close season, at least they’re back in training next week.
