Nottingham Forest have failed to lure former manager Paul Hart away from Charlton Athletic and take up the role of Technical Director at the City Ground.

According to the BBC, the London club wanted around £500,000 in compensation for Hart, who works there as the clubs’ Academy Director.

Hart was a fans favourite when manager here between 2001-2004. He was credited with moulding the careers of players such as Jermaine Jenas, Andy Reid and Michael Dawson.
