Nottingham Forest have failed to lure former manager Paul Hart away from Charlton Athletic and take up the role of Technical Director at the City Ground.

According to the BBC, the London club wanted around £500,000 in compensation for Hart, who works there as the clubs’ Academy Director.

Hart was a fans favourite when manager here between 2001-2004. He was credited with moulding the careers of players such as Jermaine Jenas, Andy Reid and Michael Dawson.

  • Marthur-go and get him and do not come back unless you bring him with you.Do it in the next 72 hours.I assume you did not expect to get him for nothing? If you get him for less than £500,000 you will impress me.However,we need him and we must have him.He is so obviously worth this sort of money to anyone and is worth a lot lot more to us than £500,000 right now.It would be very silly even by our current standards not to somehow find the money.Off you go…..
