Alfa Semedo is still recovering from a hamstring injury but Richard Cusack, Josh Murray, Jamie Kemble and Tom Leach of Nottinghamshire Live say the 22-year-old could return in ‘up to two weeks’.

Semedo has made nine appearances in all competitions this season, last featuring against Barnsley on September 21. He’s gone on to miss five Championship games and may not feature again until mid-November.

Forest next face Luton Town (November 2) and Derby County (November 9) before the international break. They’ll lock horns with Bristol City (November 23) afterwards and Semedo should be back in time to face them.

In his absence, Sabri Lamouchi has turned to Ben Watson, John Bostock, Tiago Silva and Ryan Yates in midfield, but Forest’s form has been poor of late. The Reds have lost their last two league games and are falling down the table.

Forest are currently 10th after 13 matches and need a result in their next outing to stand a chance of returning to the playoffs. Semedo injury isn’t helping matters, as the 22-year-old boasted four wins and three draws in the eight games he featured in.
