Bad news for Forest defender Chris Gunter today, as he’s forced to pull out of the Welsh squad due to play Scotland on Saturday.

Gunter would have been a shoe-in for the friendly against Scotland, at the City of Cardiff Stadium on Saturday, but he’s withdrawn from the squad on medical advice, after picking up a virus.

Wales loss, could be Forests’ gain, due to the fact that the Reds’ don’t play again until a week on Saturday. Hopefully it means he has enough time to recover for our next game at Middlesbrough.

Forest and Wales striker Robert Earnshaw will make use of the game in Cardiff, to continue his bid for match fitness after suffering from a calf injury. He played in a midweek friendly for the Reds’ against Barnsley and should be fit enough to play.
