Loan moves can often prove to be the making of players, and Jorge Grant enjoyed a tremendous season on loan last campaign. The promising midfielder has joined Luton Town on a season-long for the forthcoming season, although the Hatters were hoping for a permanent move.
As Dunstable Today reports, Luton were hoping to sign Nottingham Forest’s Jorge Grant on a permanent basis. However, they were forced to settle for a loan deal.
Here’s how Forest supporters have reacted to the news on Twitter.

Good place to go. Can't help but feel that we are kind of stringing him along a bit though

Hes only been on 2 loans in L2 this will be a better test, if he does well he might make it here if not we can sell.

Verdict:
The 23-year-old enjoyed a superb campaign with our rivals last season, tallying a magnificent total of 18 goals in all competitions. The dynamic midfielder is endowed with great potential, and League One could provide him with the perfect outlet to further his development.
Whether Grant makes it at Forest remains to be seen, but if he continues to impress out on loan, his value and his attributes will continue to improve. It’s a logical decision by the club.
