You have to feel for Luton. This time last year they were playing Championship football and this time next year, they’ll be playing it in the depths of League 2 following their relegation last week. Former Forest caretaker boss Mick Harford, doesn’t know if he’ll have a job next season and has been forced to see his squad decimated after the club went into administration.

Forest had their playoff place booked this week and will look to go into them with a decent run of form behind them. With only three games left, they need to do that now and can’t afford to have any sentiments for Luton and their predicament. Hatters boss Harford has intimated that he may give the youth a chance in an attempt to end 9 games without an away win.

Famous people from Luton:

Apart from making hats and cars and being famous for it’s airport, Luton can infact lay claim to a few celeb types to call their own. Star of the Carry On films Kenneth Williams hails from their, as did Hollywood heartthrob Gary Cooper. This country’s most infamous prisoner Charles Bronson comes from there and singer Paul Young, often lays his hat there as well. Possibly their biggest claim to fame nowadays, is that the world’s first Domino’s pizza was made there.
