Forest welcome playoff chasing Brighton to the City Ground on Monday and hope to continue where they left off on Friday night following on from the 2-1 away win at Northampton. The Seagulls sit in 7th spot, just 1 point off a playoff place and will arrive on the back of a 2-1 win of their own after beating Swindon at the weekend.

Manager Dean Wilkins will have his charges fired up for this one and will be looking to avenge the 2-0 defeat he suffered at the hands of the Reds back in December.

Forest of course are clinging to the slimmest of automatic promotion hopes. Defeat at home to the Seagulls will see them disappear completely. CC will hopefully have learned at Northampton, that sending out his troops with an attack minded attitude can win you football matches.

Famous people from Brighton:

It’s a veritable celeb fest here. No scraping the barrel here folks. The most famous dead ‘luvvy’ of them all Laurence Olivier hails from here, as does Fat Boy Slim aka Norman Cook. He’s even a fan! Carol Barnes the newsreader and Steve Coogan the comedian can lay claim to Brighton. The list doesn’t end there. Writers Rudyard Kipling and Lewis Carol made their names here, as did Chris Eubankth (boxther) and Robin Cousins (ice skater). And finally, the housewives choice Des Lynam is also a fan of the club. Not bad ,eh. Doncaster Rovers our next opposition will have to go some to beat this lot on the celeb front.

Vital Quotes:

Nottingham Forest Team News:

Definitely out for the Reds will be Arron Davies and his dodgy hamstring and James Perch with dodgy ankle ligaments. Ian Breckin may earn a recall due to the absence of Perch, otherwise expect CC to keep faith with the side that did so well at Northampton.

Player to watch: Nathan Tyson

Seems to have fully recovered from his hamstring problems now and is in fine form. He has the pace to upset any defence in this division.

Brighton and Hove Albion Team News:

Brighton are without the versatile Adam El-Abd for a month with knee ligament trouble. Andrew Whing misses out as he serves the second of his two match suspension.

Player to watch: Nicky Forster

The striker has bagged 14 goals so far this campaign and has scored 7 in the last 7 games. Will definitely need to be watched.
