More good news for the Forest faithful today, as the signing of 23-year-old Guy Moussi from French Ligue 2 side SCO Angers was announced on the Official Site. The reds paid an undisclosed fee for the midfielder, believed to be in the region of £300k.

A defensive midfielder by trade, Moussi is now the clear choice to replace the departed Sammy Clingan, and his arrival will ease the worries of many who were worried about the club`s contingency plans. Moussi was first brought to the club`s attention by our former midfielder and scout David Friio, and has put pen to paper on a three-year deal.

Moussi had been at Angers for six years, and is believed to have had options to join several top-flight French clubs. However, he is now a Forest player, and in my opinion our beating off of top-flight European opposition can only be good for the club. Welcome to Nottingham Guy.
