Forest Target Four As Deadline Day Could Be A Little Dramatic

|

Nottingham Forest are reportedly targeting four captures on the final day of the January transfer window with the rumour mill suggesting we’ll make late moves for Wolves’ Leo Bonatini, Bournemouth’s Tyrone Mings, Monaco midfielder Pele and Fulham’s Kevin McDonald.

Our reported interest in McDonald is already known but yesterday the Nottingham Post claimed that we had made late moves for the other three, and if we can get four new faces in for new manager Martin O’Neill, the expectation is four players would move on as well.

With an explosive start to life last season in the Championship with 12 quick goals in the second tier, Bonatini struggled in the second half of the year and has only found the net once and he has apparently been made available for loan in the last few days.

Mings has also interested us, but with a loan fee of a reported £1million Aston Villa are expected to win that one, but we continue circling just in case.

10m Euro signing Pele has found chances limited this year and it’s believed Monaco are open to a loan deal to help him refind his form, but with McDonald possibly looking unlikely, he’s a further option should we choose.

Southampton striker Sam Gallagher is also mentioned as a possibility but that depends on their business as at the moment, they are open to a deal.

It’s going to be a typical deadline day and most of the speculation will be 100% wrong, but that won’t stop people getting excited.
