Nottingham Forest have announced the arrival of Liam Bossin.

The Belgian-born goalkeeper, who actually represents the Republic of Ireland at U21 level, qualifying through his mother, winning two caps, has signed a two year deal at the City Ground.

Arriving as a free agent after coming to the end of his deal at Anderlecht, Bossin will initially join up with the U23 side.

His time at Forest, where he’ll look to impress in Jack Lester’s side to begin with before aiming to advance into Mark Warburton’s first team, will be Bossin’s first taste of football outside of Belgium.

The ‘shot-stopper has spent his career in the Belgian leagues,’ said the Official Website.
