It’s been reported this last hour that Nottingham Forest will soon complete the signing of goalkeeper Stefanos Kapino on a free transfer.

The 23 year old Greek international is reportedly in Nottingham at the moment according to Sky Sports and they believe that talks are ongoing and that he will soon undergo a medical.

Whether there’s an expectation he’ll be announced tonight or tomorrow remains to be seen, but he is a former Olympiakos player but saw his contract terminated following the January transfer window as he obviously fell out of plans having last played in a three two defeat to AEK on September 24.

Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis knows him and his abilities well with his involvement at Olymiakos and he would become the second goalkeeper to join following Costel Pantilimon arriving from Watford on loan.

The player began his career at Panathinaikos before spending time at Mainz ahead of his arrival at his former club. He has 74 starting appearances to his name, with a further two showings from the bench.
