The latest news from London concerning Forest wannabe’s Lee Camp and Dexter Blackstock, states that talks are well underway to make both players permanent fixtures at the City Ground next season.

The London Informer, claims that Forest are ready to pay £2m for Rangers’ top scorer Blackstock, who has been on loan with the Reds’ for the past month. Dex has been an instant hit on Trentside and as well as scoring twice for us, he’s added a new dimension to the strikeforce.

Both players have expressed their desire to come to the City Ground and neither have hid the fact either. There will be no complaints from supporters if Blackstock signs on the dotted line, although £2m is way over the top pricewise. There will be no complaints if Camp is on his way here as well, as he became an instant hit on the terraces, due to his exploits against the Sheep earlier this season.

Both would be excellent additions to the squad and would go along way to strengthening two areas we have been sadly weak in all season. Looks like the Reds’ could be doing their business early this year. Then again, cynics will say that season ticket prices are set to be announced and an increase is on the cards.
