Forest striker David Johnson on Saturday reached another milestone on Saturday having scored the only goal of the game against Bradford. That took him to 50 goals for Forest.

Johnson must enjoy playing against Bradford because a couple of years ago a goal against them took him to 100 career goals.

Johnson snatched the only goal of Forest’s home clash with Bradford to take his tally of goals for the Club to 50.

He said: ‘My 50th has been a long time coming. I got my 100th career goal against Bradford a few years ago but it has been pretty disappointing for me since then. Hopefully I can kick on from here and get a bit of a goal-scoring run going.’

Johnson regained his starting place due to a suspension for Gareth Taylor. Megson made a number of changes following the woeful game against Yeovil.

Johnson said: ‘I think that all four of us who came back into the side did well. We all had something to prove and grasped the opportunity with both hands.’
