Forest Join Race For Leon Cort

The Daily Mail is today reporting that Nottingham Forest are one of three clubs in the hunt for Stoke City centre half Leon Cort.

According to the paper, the Reds will fight Newcastle and Middlesbrough for his signature. The 29 year old, 6ft, 3ins defender has fallen down the pecking order at the Britannia Stadium since the arrivals of Collins and Huth.

Cort is one of a number of defensive targets that Forest are looking at, as manager Billy Davies goes about completing the job of rebuilding the squad.
