Next season we’re all hoping that the sleeping giant that is Nottingham Forest will be woken.
The time has come for the club to mount a serious challenge to get back to its rightful place in English football, the top-tier.
But, to do so, the current squad needs overhauling, new talent has to be brought in, otherwise, next season will be much the same as this season, lamentable.
Taking a quick journey through the wonderfully unpredictable world of social media, we’ve uncovered speculation, via tweets, linking Forest with acquiring some new talent.
Seemingly, Aitor Karanka is looking towards Portugal to bolster the Forest squad,

Either of the duo, on a loan or permanent deal, would do wonders for our team.
However, it is also being suggested that the boss is looking closer to home, looking at a playmaker who could provide that spark going forward we sometimes lack:

But, as you can see Forest face some stiff opposition for Marcus Maddison.
Unfortunately, for some, the impending arrival of some players could signal an exit for others.

At the moment it is, we must add, all speculation, but it’s great to see Forest being linked with players that will improve the team, is it not?
