Reports in the Nottingham Evening Post, are stating that the new stadium plans for Nottingham Forest could be back on the agenda.

It’s nearly two years since it first came to light that NFFC were to up sticks and move into a shiny new home. But plans for a new stadium hit the rocks earlier this year, when it was announced that the City Council were not as keen as the club was on a move to a site near Clifton, just off the A453.

The City Council had earmarked other areas within the City as their preferred site for the proposed new stadium, with land at Colwick or Holme Pierpoint as their number one choices. Talks must have been ongoing, despite the apparent stalemate and a decision on our new home’s whereabouts could be a little closer to being decided.

The Post has said that a four man team is to visit the City on Wednesday. Whilst they wont be seeing our shiny new stadium, they could well be looking at where it will eventually be. They will no doubt be given the Royal tour and taken to see the best bits, just to see what our cosmopolitan City has to offer. So if any of you Trickies living around the Meadows, St. Anns, or Sneinton areas catch a glimpse of four great Limos cruising down your street….make sure you doff your caps and give them a polite wave.
