I’m not going to dwell on the playoff semi final between us and the Glovers, because it’s still something of an open wound for me and I suspect most Forest fans. We all know what happened that night and don’t need reminding. The worst night in my entire football supporting life will stay where it is for now, firmly in the past but sadly not forgotten.
Forest can go along way on Saturday in avenging that night with three points at Huish Park, although in all honesty it would take a lot more than that. It’s been a happy hunting ground for us in the past, because no matter how badly we play there, we always seem to win.
The form book going into the game is good for both teams. Yeovil sit handsomely in 4th spot with 13 points. The Glovers have had a good start winning 3 of their games. Forest go into this fixture with back to back wins against Port Vale and Gillingham behind them.
The game of course will be a homecoming for Chris Cohen, who returns to the Somerset club for the first time since his arrival at the City Ground. Unfortunately there will be no place in the side for Arron Davies who also signed from the Glovers with Cohen.

The Glovers are in a state with injuries at the moment. Last week against Brighton they were without keeper Steve Mildenhall, Cochrane, Williams and Lee Morris. They still won 2-1 though.

Russell Slade took the striker from relegated Brentford in the summer and so far looks to be an inspired signing with 5 goals to his credit already this season.
Nottingham Forest Team News:
Matt Lockwood suffered a setback in the reserve game in midweek, just as he was looking ready for first team action. Luke Chambers could be a doubt after picking up a knock in the win over the Gills. Davies and McGugan are not ready yet.
Player to watch: Chris Cohen
If he plays well, Forest play well. It’s no coincidence that the upturn in form for the Reds has come about after his arrival in the side. The former Glover will want to do well in front of his former employers.
