Following the FA’s decision today to charge both Nottingham Forest and Derby County with acts of misconduct, fans opposed to that charge on Forest, have set up a petition to fight it.

The charges result from clashes amongst both Forest and Derby players and officials at the end of the game on Saturday. The petition also argues against the charge of improper conduct levelled at striker Nathan Tyson.

Although it’s debatable if anything will be achieved, the petition organisers aim to get the charges dropped against Forest, stating that it was the Derby players and officials who incited the trouble in the first place.

You can see the petition in full HERE and make up your own mind if you wish to sign it. I personally wish them luck in their endeavours and will be signing, but also think it has little chance of success…..Unfortunately

  • You’ve got to be kidding? Both sets of players lost control starting with Tyson who incited the whole thing.

  • had Tyson not been attacked, nothing would have happened. Leacock and Teale incited the whole thing, which was mostly a bit of handbags anyway.

Mountain made out of a molehill because of the behaviour of some fat balding cockneys the week before.

  • As it happens, both teams are guilty so lets just get it over and done with and get on with the season.

  • Fine for both clubs & most likely a ban for Tyson…let’s just hope someone shows the FA Robbie Savage’s antics last year! No excuse, I know, but commonality has to be the order of the day & a retrospective ban for Lily ought to be levied!
