Forest face an anxious wait on the injury picked up by on loan left back Paul Konchesky, in the 2-2 draw with Preston last night.

Konchesky limped off in the 67th minute, after he pulled up in the game. It’s suspected that he’s damaged his hamstring. He was withdrawn after signalling to the bench that something was wrong and was replaced by Joel Lynch.

The extent of the damage is not yet known, but it’s hoped he will only be out for a week or two.

The injury occurred almost 20 minutes after he scored the equaliser to make the scores 1-1. It was his first goal in a Forest shirt, since signing as an 93 day emergency loan from Liverpool last month.
