Late yesterday evening, it was being claimed that Nottingham Forest were now close to securing the signature of highly rated young attacker Arvin Appiah to a new extended contract at the City Ground.
With his existing deal expiring and with him beginning to make a real name for himself now following his debut earlier in the season for manager Aitor Karanka, obviously, an extension is a priority for us and getting it over the line will be quite a coup given the future plenty think he has in the game.
The Telegraph’s John Percy took to social media yesterday to state.
#nffc are close to agreeing a new contract with highly-rated winger Arvin Appiah, who made his Championship debut against Leeds on New Years Day. Huge prospect for the future #talent

The 17-year-old made his substitute professional bow for the club during the disappointing defeat to Burton Albion in the League Cup, although he did find the net in the 3-2 defeat and he made a Championship substitute bow on New Year’s Day as we took a fantastic victory over league leaders Leeds United.
It can only be a matter of time before we start seeing more of the lad.
Good news need to start playing the lad

Looks a talent but he is only 17 so there's plenty of time.
