Despite being incredibly active in the transfer window, it seems that our business is primed to continue as we look to assemble a squad with the best possible chance of attaining promotion to the top-flight of English football.

In one of his latest interviews, Aitor Karanka has confirmed that the club are still pursuing deals. The Spaniard revealed that the club are still market for a right-back.

For the majority of the summer, we’ve been linked with a move for West Ham United’s Sam Byram. The right-back was regarded as one of the Championship’s most exciting prospects during his time with Leeds United, but the full-back has failed to emulate the same success during his time in the Premier League.

Many forest supporters consider Byram to be the last significant signing that the club need to complete, the last piece of the jigsaw. In a recent interview, Karanka confirmed that the club were looking for a right-back. The following quotes are from Dispatch.

“With Tendayi’s performance, I am not thinking too much about the right-back, right no.”

“It is true that we are trying to sign one, but we are going to be really careful about our signings. We have been careful with all the signings we have made, and we are not going to make mistakes now. “

“It is true that the market is going to close. But we are good, and we believe we are going to bring in the right one.”
