The signing of Carl Fletcher from Crystal Palace on a six week loan deal could be good news for Forest fans, but the thought of being without the Moose is not.

The Reds’ could be without the influential Frenchman for up to eight weeks with a foot injury. Vital Forest have heard that Moussi is expected to undergo an operation on Monday, when they hope to find out the length of his recovery for sure.

Forest have confirmed their interest in Fletcher and hope to have the deal done in time for him to play at QPR at the weekend. He’s currently on his way back from international duty with Wales and is expected to tie up the deal tomorrow.

Palace boss Neil Warnock, hasn’t played Fletcher since March after losing his place to former Red Shaun Derry. Warnock told the Croydon Guardian. “I spoke to Colin Calderwood when we were up there and they have got a lot of youngsters and I think he`s probably just the kind of player they need to keep them all together and start turning the corner.’

The man we love to hate was very complimentary about all things Tricky, when he said. “It is a good club Forest with good fans and good atmosphere.’ Thanks for that Col, but we’d much prefer Ben Watson, if you don’t mind.
