Nottingham Forest have a two-week wait in between games now the international break has begun, but which players have been called up for their respective national team?
Arijanet Muric
The 20-year-old has struggled for form and playing time while on loan at Forest, but he’s still being picked for Kosovo. The national team face Gibraltar (friendly) on October 10 and Montenegro (Euro 2020 qualifier) on October 14.
As per Transfermarkt, Muric has represented his country on seven occasions and most recently played against England in September. Whether he’ll continue to start amid his poor form, however, remains to be seen.

The 20-year-old has been representing Forest’s u23s and has been called up for Greece u21s – Siampanis has made four caps for the national team at youth level. His side face Czech Republic u21s (U21 Euro 2021 qualifiers) on October 10.
Brennan Johnson
After impressing for Wales u19s, Johnson could make his debut for the u21s against Moldova (U21 Euro 2021 qualifiers) on October 11.
The 18-year-old was rewarded for his impressive Forest form at youth level with senior appearances in the EFL Cup this season, and is now working his way through the ranks for Wales too.
Alex Mighten
The 17-year-old has scored three goals in three games for England u18s and has been picked for their upcoming friendlies against Poland on October 11, Slovakia on October 14 and Austria on October 16.
