Look, it’s only a preseason game, and Olympiacos are a Champions League outfit.
That’s why I don’t think it’s all that important if a few Forest fans aren’t too impressed after the game last night, in which Sabri Lamouchi’s men were on the wrong side of a 3-0 scoreline. Whilst a lot of players will obviously receive a lot of negative comments after the match, there is one man, in particular, who is coming in for more of it than the others.
Arijanet Muric seems to be the player that’s getting the majority of the attention last night. With him coming to the club with significant praise from Pep Guardiola, to see three goals fly past him in the first half an hour didn’t fill Forest fans with confidence.
The second and third goals particularly have raised a few eyebrows, after he parried the initial effort right into the path of Miguel Guerrero for the former and flapped at a Giorgos Masouras shot in the build-up for the latter.
I personally would cut him some slack, it couldn’t have been easy to see the ball in the conditions last night, but it appears as if these Forest fans aren’t in such a forgiving mood…
