Nottingham Forest have announced the double signing of Juan Rafael Fuentes and Stefanos Kapino this evening.

Spanish left back Fuentes joins the club as a free agent having left Osasuna at the end of the 2016//17 campaign. The 28 year old has close to 200 appearances in La Liga, counting the likes of Cordoba, Espanyol and Osasuna amongst his former clubs.

He now takes up a new challenge in England but you’d expect it to be a couple of weeks before we see him in action given how long he’s been without a club.

Kapino has been speculated about for a while, and the 23 year old former Olympiacos stopper has signed an 18 month contract at the club.

As fans will probably be aware, in his two and a half year stay at Olympiacos saw him get extremely good game time until he fell out of favour in the first half of this season and he also joins as a free agent having mutually agreed to terminate his contract.
