Forest striker Dexter Blackstock, has told the NEP, that he doesn’t know of any other club that allows so many players to run down their contracts, in the way they do at NFFC.

Blackstock warns that Luke Chambers, Garath McCleary, Joel Lynch and Paul Anderson, could all walk away from the City Ground for free, when their contracts expire.

Other players including Blackstock will begin the new season in the final year of their contracts. Chris Cohen, Lee Camp, Lewis McGugan, and Chris Gunter could all walk for nothing, unless the club are able to sort things out.

Blackstock pulled no punches and warned that changes need to be made. ‘It does not make sense. How can that happen? I know Steve Cotterill is trying to make things right, but he has had his hands tied. Hopefully the policy will change next season. The manager has done a good job but he needs to be given some help.’
