New boss Billy Davies is continuing to assess his squad, in an effort to find out where he needs to strengthen. Although he admits he needs to add to his playing staff, he says he wont buy just for the sake of it.

Talking to BBC Radio Nottingham, Davies said. ‘I’m in discussions with potential targets and there’s many of them, but I’m nowhere near signing a player. We do need some additions, of course. But the last thing I want to do is to go and spend money unwisely. I’m assessing the squad. I’m looking around the club and identifying how we can improve on and off the pitch.’

The good news is, it looks very much as so there will be additions. The bad news, is we’ll have to be patient. That’s never been an easy thing for Forest fans in recent years, but in Billy, we must trust.
