Forest manager Billy Davies says he will meet with chairman and owner Fawaz Al-Hasawi, to discuss the way forward for the club and how they will make a serious push for promotion next season.

Davies was reflecting on a season that saw the Reds’ just miss out on a Playoff place following the 3-2 last day defeat at home to Leicester City. Speaking to the official site, Davies said he could look back on his second spell in charge of the Reds’ with a great deal of pride.

Plans for next season are already being made according to Davies, who said. ‘Fawaz and I will sit down and discuss the vision, budgets and what is necessary to move forward. We`ll put a plan in place regarding new signings, targets and restructuring the football club.’

It looks like being a busy summer ahead for Davies, who will have a full pre season to prepare his squad for the new campaign. Earlier this week the club announced plans to go to Portugal once again and set up a training camp in readiness for the 2013/14 season.
