Nottingham Forest manager Billy Davies says he’s actually confident that the club will address the problems shown in recent transfer windows with regards to bringing in new players.

Davies has repeatedly voiced his concerns at the lack of signings, despite the long list of recommendations he has made. He believes that the club will now act on his suggestions in January and show the same ambition he has in achieving promotion.

Speaking to the NEP Davies said. ‘I have great confidence that, in January, the ambition of Forest will be shown by the faces we bring in and the work that we do.
I am very confident that the job can still be done, in terms of getting out of the Championship. I am just disappointed that, last January and, in the summer, our progression stopped slightly. I’d like to see that addressed in January.’
