Davies Frustrated Over Bournemouth Draw

Forest boss Billy Davies says he felt frustrated after the 1-1 draw with Bournemouth at the City Ground on Saturday.

The Reds’ were looking good for the three points, following a cracking first half strike from Henri Lansbury, to put the home side 1-0 up. However, the Cherries got a 90th minute equaliser thanks to midfielder Marc Pugh.

Billy Davies told the BBC. ‘We are very frustrated. We had so many chances, I think there were 20 overall, but the opposition worked hard and credit to them. I am confident these strikers can get the goals. The lesson is to be clinical.’

The draw still sees Forest in 4th place on 23 points, but now 4 points off an automatic spot. The Reds’ travel to Yeovil next weekend and will be hoping for maximum points there to maintain the challenge for promotion.
