It’s being reported that Jason Cummings is waiting on talks with new Nottingham Forest manager Aitor Karanka to find out what his future holds with speculation linking him with a return to Scotland and Glasgow Rangers.

The Evening Times were one of many to report the speculation earlier today about a potential return to Scotland for the striker.

The 22 year old made the switch to the City Ground last summer from Hibernian, but since coming into the club he’s only made ten starts with seven substitute appearances. He has however returned four goals in that time, but did become largely sidelined as Mark Warburton’s time at the club came to an end.

The report states that the player will wait for talks with Karanka before deciding his future given rumours in Scotland suggest Rangers are very interested in capturing him this month.

A fee of £1million is speculated as being the number necessary.

Surely he needs a better crack at Forest first though?
