Forest make the short trip to Coventry this week trying to continue their excellent recent form having lost just once in the last 21 league games. There will be pressure on this game with Billy’s recent press release about the lack of signings & Majewski being mentally unfit for the last game due to protracted contract talks, it may just kick start another ‘us against the World’ spirit amongst the Forest squad though. what is certain is that we’re now getting into the business end of the season & all that matter now are the results.

Vital Quotes:

Fight on, round 30

Coventry City Team News:

Defensive midfielder Isaac Osbourne has been ruled out for the season after undergoing surgery on a knee problem. Ben Turner is back in training after an ankle injury he picked up in November but this game will probably be too soon for him to start.
young full back Jordan Clarke will again miss out with an ankle injury.

Player to watch: Clinton Morrison

With 9 goals so far in 23 starts he will be leading the line in the absence of Leon Best who moved to Newcastle in the January window

Nottingham Forest Team News:

Raddy Majewski could return to the starting line up after missing the win over Sheffield Wednesday with what Billy Davies described as a ‘head problem’. Once again though forest escaped with no new injury worries making this probably forest longest run without an injury since the beginning of time.

Player to watch: Rob Earnshaw

The two main strikers share 10 league goals each at Forest but Earnie will want to be the main man and needs to get back on the score sheet to move ahead of Dexter Blackstock.

Match Facts & Stats

These two teams have met 81 times in league competition with Forest having a massive lead on wins with 41 compared to just 14 for Coventry in all previous league games & 27 matches drawn. There have been 174 goals in previous fixtures with Forest scoring 123 of them.

Tony Bates of Staffordshire will take charge of this game, he last took charge of a Forest fixture back in the August embarrassment at home to Watford.
Mr A E Fearn and William Smallwood of Cheshire will be his assistants & Fourth Official for the day will be Mark Heywood of W. Yorkshire

Match Prediction:

I’m expecting Forest to either go on another winning run, or to fall apart after all the negativity lately & the media pressure, I’m going for the winning run though & Forest to continue their excellent form with a 0 – 2 away win here.
