James Coppinger’s loan spell with Nottingham Forest expires today and he’s already returned to Doncaster Rovers.
The 31 year old midfielder endured a disappointing time at the City Ground, making only 6 appearances, with 4 of them coming from the bench. Despite being a favourite of former manager Sean O’Driscoll’s, he was unable to get a regular start.
He returned to the Keepmoat at the weekend and will be available for Rovers derby clash with Sheffield United on New Year’s day.
