Forest winger Kris Commons’s chances of being fit in time for the weekend game with Walsall are described as ‘quite doubtful,’ by manager Colin Calderwood.

Commons picked up the injury in the 1-0 home defeat against Carlisle and has missed the last two games. The official site is being cagey though and also say he is not definitely ruled out. So basically we’re none the wiser, which is how they like it I suppose.

The big question over tomorrow’s team selection is whether Nathan Tyson and Matt Thornhill will get a place in the starting line up, after doing so well at Southend on Tuesday.

As for Walsall, they have a host of injury worries, as well as the confirmed suspension of Richard Taundry, who has had his red card appeal upheld. He begins a three match ban tomorrow.
