Calderwood was happy with his teams 1-1 draw at promotion rivals Bristol City. Although the playoffs seem likely, the Forest boss is still confident of making up the ground on the Robins.

Forest sit four points behind City, with only six games to play. But Calderwood said ‘I am very confident of catching Bristol, their next games are against Yeovil and Swansea, so that will be difficult for them.’

Calderwood even refuses to concede the title to Scunthorpe who are eight points clear of the Reds, saying. ‘I wouldn’t put them out of sight, but they’re in a good position. We would have to produce five or six wins to have a chance of catching them.’

  • He is also wrong. They are playing Gills on Easter Monday not Yeovil. We need Bristol to screw up but its possible. I am more worried about us getting 5 wins to be honest!

  • I don’t think, considering our form and run in (three mid-table sides, one above relegation and two in – though Rotherham and Brentford won’t be easy), that the worry lies in our results. The focus should be on Bristol’s run-in, and I can see them slipping up against the likes of Swansea and Yeovil. We shall see.
