Nottingham Forest midfielder Chris Cohen, says that the team is playing well enough to move up the table and onto safety, following their recent change in fortunes.

Although we still sit second from bottom in the Championship table, Cohen believes that the side has enough quality to pull away from the drop zone. Recent form suggests he could be right, as we’re unbeaten in three games and not looking too shabby in terms of performance.

Cohen told BBC Radio Nottingham. ‘We feel that we’re good enough and I don’t think any of the games have shown that we’re not. As long as we keep putting the effort and enthusiasm in we’ll get ourselves out of this situation. We started the season really well and then had a faulty patch, but overall we’re really happy with how we’ve played. We just maybe lack that cutting edge. I’m not making excuses but we have been unlucky with injuries.’

We may have been unlucky with injuries, but we have been woeful infront of goal. Although Cohen and the rest of the side will be pleased with current form in general, we have to start hitting the back of the net and that responsibility falls on the strikers. At least we’re creating the chances, so there is room for optimism.
