The list of names being linked with a move to the City Ground this summer continues to grow and Cardiff City winger Peter Whittingham is the latest.

Whittingham is an England U21 International and has made 60 appearances for the Bluebirds since joining from Aston Villa in 2007. In his time at Ninian Park he has scored 9 goals and is said to have a great future ahead of him despite being ‘unpredictable’.

Forest apparently made a bid for him in the last transfer window, but it was rejected. According to the South Wales Echo we may have competition from Wigan for his signature.

  • Good player, I was surprised when we let him go although he does have a tendancy to disappear during some games.
