Camp Gets First Call Up For Northern Ireland Squad

Lee Camp has today earned his first call up to the Northern Ireland squad. He has been named in the 23 man squad to face Serbia and Slovenia in the Euro 2012 Qualifiers later this month.

Camp was cleared by FIFA to play for the Northern Irish last month, despite previously representing England at U’21 level.

Two other keepers will stand in the way of Camp making his first appearance for the Irish. They are Maik Taylor at Birmingham and Jonathan Tuffey at SPL side Inverness Caledonian Thistle.
