Despite having only 1 win in the last 7 games, the Forest boss says he’s not too concerned about his future. Fans have been calling for him to stand down amidst fears of this turning into another failed season.

Speaking to BBC Radio Nottingham he said. ‘It’s not something that overly concerns me if I’m honest.’ It should be though, because the Reds are now in 5th place in the table and in danger of slipping out of the playoffs altogether.

We face the daunting prospect of a game against 2nd placed Carlisle tomorrow night and defeat there will mean that we have only amassed 7 points from the last 8 games. That is more like relegation form rather than promotion.

Fans would appreciate him getting a bit more concerned about his situation and get us out of this division. Some would prefer he just upped and left, such is the lack of faith in him at present.

You can hear the full interview with Colin Calderwood tonight, on BBC Radio Nottingham’s Matchtalk from 6-7pm.
