Boss Colin Calderwood felt Nottingham Forest were given a lift by striker Nathan Tyson’s return from injury as a substitute against Brentford.
Tyson, who suffered a knee ligament injury on the opening day of the season, came on after 66 minutes as Forest went on to win 2-0.

‘When I announced it before the game, the rest of the squad gave Nathan a round of applause,’ Calderwood said.

‘They are glad to see him back, and I knew it would lift the crowd as well.’
