In the third part of his interview, Colin Calderwood talks about his belief in this Forest side.

‘The mood in the dressing room is very, very focused. We’re looking forward to the competition in the next few weeks – we’re in a race with six or seven other very good teams.

But the guys are confident in one another and that’s a very good thing to have within the group.

When you look around the dressing room you’re pleased to have the kind of guys you know can win you games and also some good professionals.

Composure throughout the 90 minutes of the games is going to be very important and their belief in one another will certainly help too.

We’re ready for it because we expected it to be this tight, even when we were seven points clear at the top.

But we don’t talk about promotion, either myself or the players. Our goal is promotion, but it’s not a topic of conversation in the dressing room.

The focus is always on the game at the end of the week and the reality is that we don’t look further than that. ‘

  • Reality is we need to start winning the game at the end of the week, otherwise this season will end up badly. Has have too many in recent times.
