Forest had to make do with a point at the City Ground as they fought for a share of the spoils with Doncaster Rovers at the City Ground.

The 0-0 draw sees the unbeaten run stretch to seven League games and puts us in 4th spot with 20 points, just two behind the leaders Orient.

Colin Calderwood saw it very much as a point gained and told the official site . ‘We had the lions share of possession and chances and at home you would expect that. Doncaster are a quality team and the last thing we wanted was for them to pinch a win.’

Before the game Calderwood said Rovers would be one of the main contenders in the race for promotion this year, so a point will be seen as a good result even at home. One of the disappointments for fans in yesterdays’ game was the lack of clear cut goal scoring opportunities. But Calderwood was happy with the point and the performance from the players saying, ‘One thing is for certain. It wasn’t for the lack of effort that we didn’t win the game.’
