Forest need to get back to winning ways at the City Ground tomorrow, when they face struggling Millwall. The fans have been quick to criticise Calderwood in light of the teams woeful away form and the calls for his head will only grow louder if they don’t pick up all three points in tomorrows’ game.

The home form is fine and stands up to scrutiny, but away from the CG we really struggle and fans have criticised everything from CC’s team team selections, to his tactics as to the reasons for this. In the past 4 away games, the Reds have taken only 1 point.

Despite this Calderwood is still confident that promotion can still be achieved. He told the official site. ‘As a manager you have to accept peoples opinions and that the debating chamber in football is larger than ever before, but our belief in the dressing room is still strong and that’s the important thing. After last weeks’ result and performance, all we have done is intensify the spotlight on ourselves and we’re coming back to the CG knowing we’ve got to get 3 points again.’

He admitted the Bournemouth performance was below par and understood the frustrations of fans and that he was looking to put things right against Millwall and Lucky Leeds on Tuesday night. He and the fans alike will be hoping to see a positive reaction from the players and get the promotion bandwagon back on track..
