Calderwood after Leeds loss.

Reds manager Colin Calderwood remained upbeat despite watching his side go down 3-2 at home to Leeds United speaking recently.

‘The boys are mildly confident – they feel as though they have done enough good things to be semi-happy,’ he told the club’s official website.

‘They’re quiet because they haven’t won and we’ve had another defeat. We’ve conceded three goals at home but we think we can stop them.

‘I think they’re easy to stop and because of that we’ve got to be fairly happy.

‘We had the better chances in the second half. I don’t think Leeds have had an effort on target in that period that Paul Smith was going to have to make a good save to stop.

‘It was difficult in the first half. They really pulled us about and the boys had to work hard.’
