After nearly a year out through injury 25-year-old Dexter Blackstock is now back in full training with Forest.

The striker suffered cruciate ligament damage against Cardiff in November 2010 but is now on his way back to fight for a first team place.

Blackstock will be like a new signing for Steve Cotterill so in many ways he has gained a new player without even moving into the transfer marker.

His planned return, in the reserves, had to be scrapped though when his partner went into labour!
