Well that appears to be one way to put fan’s fears to one side.
And judging by the responses, he’s not the only face that they’re happy to see ready and waiting to take on Huddersfield on Sunday.
Forest boss Sabri Lamouchi gave supporters an update on player’s fitness levels ahead of the crucial game on Sunday (I say that fully aware that given our position in the table, pretty much every game between now and the end of the season will be crucial for us), and there was plenty of good news to go around.
Midfielders Samba Sow and Ben Watson are both available for selection.
Sow has been instrumental this season for us, leading the team in tackles, third in interceptions, second in being dribbled past and sixth in blocks. Meanwhile Watson missed his only league game of the season so far against Sheffield Wednesday, and has been a very important figure for us this season as well.
Who has been the better player for us this season?
Brice Samba
Samba Sow
So when the news reached fans on social media, it was no surprise to see such joy in their comments.
